Where We Are

Dore Methodist Church is committed to welcoming all people in the name of Christ. 

We are located at the south-west edge of the city, just before the boundary with the Peak District National Park . 

The number 30 bus takes you into the village centre, passing our church as it squeezes round to its depot opposite Dore Service Station and the Co-op building. So when you get off the bus you only need to retrace your steps for 100 yards and you are there.  

If you are driving you take the A625 towards Hathersage and look for a sign-post pointing left to Dore, soon after Whirlow. You drive into the centre of Dore, past the shops, and turn right into High Street, past the Devonshire Arms. Dore Methodist Church is on the left, at the junction with Savage Lane. There is a small parking area at the rear of the church, and there are parking spaces outside the church and opposite. If they are full, you could go down Savage Lane and turn left intoVicarage Lane, where there is usually room.
